I run a variety of ceramic workshops, from brooches to cake stands. Where I demonstrate how to work with porcelain, surface treatments and the application of under glaze colours. "Join us for a festive porcelain workshop led by guest artist Katie Almond. Discover the beauty of highly decorative ceramics in this inspiring workshop led by Katie. Create your own set of festive hanging decorations, brought to life with richly layered textures and intricate surface details.

Throughout the session, you’ll explore slab work with porcelain alongside exciting decorative processes to create 2 -3 decorations. Experiment with impressing patterns using an extensive collection of stamps and rollers and adding colour with underglazes. Perfect for all skill levels, this creative workshop offers a relaxed and inspiring space to learn, experiment, and make something truly special.

Workshop Details: What You’ll Make: 2-3 hanging decorations in porcelain clay and underglazes to add colour. Techniques Covered: Slab work, impressing textures, hand modelling and colouring clay with underglaze. Important Notes: Materials Provided: All clay, tools, and glazes are supplied.
